Attention all Physical Therapists and Therapy Assistants...We have just entered a new year, so it is time for a New Year's Resolution. Have you thought about eating more healthy? Well I have just the recipe for you! This cheesy chili chicken has gotten 130 wonderful reviews on foodnetwork.com. Just follow these few steps to create this great dinner.

First, buy the following ingredients:

• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro leaves, plus a few whole leaves for garnish
• 1 tablespoon chili powder
• 1 tablespoon ground cumin
• 2 teaspoons kosher salt
• 1 clove garlic, chopped
• 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
• 1/8 teaspoon cayenne
• 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves (about 2 pounds)
• 1/4 cup julienned green bell pepper
• 2 tablespoons diced red onion
• 1 medium plum tomato, cored and diced (about 1/4 cup)
• 4 ounces shredded Colby-Jack cheese

Next, follow these few directions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

Whisk together the oil, chopped cilantro, chili powder, cumin, salt, garlic, pepper, and cayenne in a bowl; add the chicken and toss to coat.

Transfer chicken to a foil-lined baking sheet and arrange the green pepper, onion, and tomato over each. Roast until the largest piece is just cooked through, and an instant-read thermometer inserted in the thickest part reads 165 degrees F, about 20 minutes.

Remove the chicken from oven and immediately top with the cheese and serve as the cheese melts. Transfer the chicken to a platter or among plates and garnish with fresh cilantro leaves.

Unless we hear from you, we will send your W2 to the address that's printed on the paystub. Even if we had a temp address for you in the past, if you're a former employee, we'll send the W2 to the address that's in the payroll system.

Hello Allied Health Care Travelers!

 

I have never blogged before, so I want to introduce myself.  My name is Nikki, and I am a recruiter here at MDI Medical.  Happy Holidays to all of our physical therapist, occupational therapist, and assistant travelers!  With the New Year approaching I am trying to decide what my resolution will be, any ideas?  Here are some things I have come up with:

If you have had the opportunity to interview for a position that you like in a large metro area, and an offer has been made, you probably don't have a lot of time to sit on this. Jobs in hot metro areas go quickly, and most facilities receive multiple resumes for the same opening. If a need is urgent, most Directors will go with the most qualified candidate who is willing to sign the contract first. This isn't to say that you should not take the time to do your research and make an informed decision. It just means that hot jobs close fast- they are hot because everybody wants them!

We all know how competitive the travel market is right now, even jobs in small rural areas seem to close quickly these days. If you're not familiar with the city where your dream job sits, make sure you research it before the interview. You can often find helpful information on a city's chamber of commerce website if you don't know where to start...and don't forget that we are always here to help you as well!
