I'm excited to tell you about our soon-to-be-new name - Cirrus Allied Staffing. As you know, we were acquired by Cirrus Medical Staffing in July. So far, we are loving it. I've received feedback from many of our speech language pathology travelers, therapy assistants, and therapists, and everyone loves weekly pay and our 2% 401k match. Well, in this market, maybe they're not so excited about the stock market itself, but everyone is excited that Cirrus is investing twice as much into our 401k. Humboldt Botanical Gardens Foundation - 7351 Tompkins Hill Road, Eureka. The Humboldt Botanical Garden will provide an educational and working botanical garden for this region and is so doing even while under construction.
Indian Island - The Wiyot people inhabited the Humboldt Bay region in a number of villages, including Tuluwat, on present-day Indian Island. Also site of one of the largest multi-species heron rookeries in Northwestern California.
Sequoia Park & Zoo and Cafe - 3414 W Street , Eureka - - Spend a couple of hours or the day - there’s always plenty to do and see at the Sequoia Park and Zoo.

Over the years, I have received many requests to simplify our pro-ration schedule for per diems&daily housing allowances.

I’m happy to announce that our payroll department can now pro-rate daily per diems and allowances based on the number of hours you work in a week! The new system is a straight forward, hourly pro-ration.

For example:

5 day per diem @ $39 per day = $195 weekly per diem

$195 divided by 40 hours per week = $4.875 hourly equivalent

If someone is in a speech language pathology job for 38 hours per week, she will receive 38 hours x $4.875 = $185.25 If this speech language pathology professional works 40 hours, she will receive the full $195 weekly per diem

Another example:

7 day per diem @ $39 per day = $273 weekly per diem

$273 divided by 40 hours per week = $6.825 hourly equivalent

If one of our physical therapy assistants works 38 hours, she will receive 38 hours x $6.825 = $259.35. If therapy assistants

work 40 hours, they will receive the full $273 weekly per diem.
