I wanted to take this time to give a little more insight on time off/pay during this upcoming holiday season.  Most clients base holiday days off on what the facility itself counts as a holiday.  Of course, we can't pay and bill for time not in the facility, so make sure if there are upcoming possibilities on days off, that you speak to your manager about make up time.  Usually, the managers will see if the permanent staff is able or willing to work first, but will get with the travelers quickly thereafter to see how the schedule and patients will be covered.  Most of the time, the manager will be sensitive to time off but they also dont want to leave their patients in a lurch.  So let your recruiter know the moment you work out the schedule and we'll make sure to relay to the payroll department.  It's a great time to get some extra hours/pay in for those upcoming holiday gifts!
